About Us

Experience the Wonder and Beauty of an Authentic Montessori program with certified Montessori teachers!

Welcome to Young Montessori School where each child is encouraged to reach for the stars through a supportive, nurturing, loving, knowledgeable, and trained staff.  At Young Montessori, each area of development (cognitive, physical, social/emotional, and language) is formed through the use of Montessori materials in an environment that encourages socialization and purposeful movement.  Montessori is a "child directed" philosophy that encourages independence and self-awareness through sensory rich, hands on learning experiences that create a concrete foundation to learning!  Come join our fun, enticing, respectful, stimulating, and engaging learning environment today!

A Montessori Preschool and Kindergarten

At Young Montessori School, children work together in a multi-age (3 to 6 years) classroom where the older, more experienced child helps to guide and model proper classroom etiquette for the younger, less experienced child.  With a multi-age environment, children find it easy to communicate with one another as all children are developing at varied levels socially.

In all the programs, children are exposed and experiencing Montessori academics through the areas of: Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, Language, Science, and Geography/Cultural.

In Practical Life, your child will use everyday materials seen in the home to acquire independence while refining the muscles of the hand for writing.

Your child will develop concrete math concepts through Sensorial and experience sensory rich materials to aid in developing personal learning paths.

Math is very concrete through the use of materials that develop numeral recognition and quantifying.

Sensory rich materials aid in the development of language and literacy paired with materials that encourage recall and recognition.

Science and Cultural exercises bring in even more experiential learning that children love!
